Trade Counter Sales

Our client, a successful and well established manufacturer and supplier of electrical parts based in South Leeds is looking for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Advisor to join their growing team. This is an additional role due to growth. You will be responsible for both office work and the manning of the trade counter as an when customers visit the site.

You will be responsible for:

Dealing with incoming enquiries via phone, email and face to face on the counter
Manning the trade counter when customers arrive on the premises
Liaising with the warehouse
Fetching stock from the warehouse
Providing quotations
Following up on quotes
Taking and processing orders
Providing technical advice and support to customers
Making product recommendations
Negotiating pricing
Liaising with suppliers
Chasing deliveries
Updating customers of orders
Cross and up-sell products

Requirements:

Experience in a similar role - distribution or manufacturing
Knowledge of electrical products highly desirable
Used to working in a fast paced environment
Ability to provide detailed product information

Salary circa £25,000 DOE

Holiday 23 rising with service (can buy and sell)
