Asset Engineer - London - Excellent Salary

An exciting position has become available within a large M&E company for an energetic and diligent asset engineer working within our facilities maintenance dept. You will be equally comfortable between client facing, operational maintenance & reactive roles as well as excellent reporting for a prestigious client.

Duties

· The seamless running of all engineering aspects of the site
· Oversee specialist service contractor activities for PPM and reactive maintenance
· Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance as required
· Maintain all current statutory, regulatory and company safety and quality standards
· Checks and routine maintenance on heating, ventilation and other plant to ensure their trouble free operation
· Routine maintenance work as matter of urgency with minimal disruptions to site
· Ensure the availability and reliability of building utilities, services and manufacturing equipment for the operational areas, in order that they can achieve the plans to satisfy the client requirements
· Ensure equipment is calibrated, in date and suitable checked in accordance with company policies and the manufacturers defined requirements
· Ensure all materials on site are suitable, stored in line with manufactures recommendations current working practice, contract specification or project requirements
· Assist with the qualification/validation introduction of any new equipment
· Assist with the development and management of critical spares stock list
· Constant awareness of the status of all ongoing maintenance
