Salary: £45,700

My client, a widely recognised high volume manufacturer, is looking for 2x multi skilled maintenance engineers to join their team to facilitate further growth. In return they are offering great earning potential, continued training and development and long term job security. They have a full order book and are continuing to meet ambitious production targets.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrically biased maintenance engineer with strong fault diagnosis and repair skills. If you are mechanically biased with electrical competencies, we still encourage you to apply. You must have had experience working in a food, beverage or high volume manufacturing environment. You should hold some form of qualification coupled with practical experience / demonstrable skills. You will be comfortable working with a range of production / process machinery.

Working as part of the shift engineering team your primary objective will be to ensure maximum machinery uptime, this will be completed mostly by attending breakdowns, fault finding and repairing on a range of machinery/systems including: Process Machinery, Chillers, Packaging Machinery, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, conveyors, pumps and more. You will also be involved in project work, which could include, machinery installations, improvements or upgrades, factory relocation and extensions and more.

Essential:

Multi Skilled Engineer

Qualified in a relevant discipline

Strong fault finding and repair skills

Experience working in a food, beverage or FMCG production manufacturing environment as an engineer

Working in a multi disciplined shift engineering team

12 hour shifts days and nights

Circa £45,700 + benefits
