The Opportunity

Our Stantec UK&I Facilities team are a progressive group of 2000+ professionals supporting an organisation of talented engineers, scientists and functional support staff. Now we are seeking a Facilities Administrator to join us in Reading. This is the opportunity to join a close-knit team and work in a fantastic office environment where you will learn and develop your skills through on-the-job training and we will encourage you to progress your career within the team.

You will be play an important role within our facilities team, providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You will provide daily support within the Central Facilities Team and offer comprehensive facilities administration support to all Stantec’s UK offices.

You will offer comprehensive facilities administration support to Stantec’s UK offices, to include managing contracts, contractor visits, ensuring all offices are up to date and are following health & safety requirements and managing a central database for administration and audit purposes.

You will be involved in a variety of other tasks including general support activities such as office moves, supporting catering requirements, ensuring waste management responsibilities are adhered to and ensuring there is a high standard of health and safety within the building.


You will have a minimum qualification of a GCSE equivalent in Maths & English and be proficient in MS Office and outlook. You will have experience in general office maintenance, while a knowledge of building management systems would be an advantage. You will have strong skills in planning and organisation, and you will have the ability to communication at all levels.

Most important to your success will be your customer service skills and your positive and proactive approach.
