A busy, family-owned agricultural machinery manufacturing business in north Norfolk is seeking a Service Manager to act as the first point of contact for customers seeking after-sale assistance.

As Service Manager you will be responsible for assisting customers with queries and issues regarding their heavy agricultural machinery, attempting to provide quick and easy solutions to a range of problems, before booking out a visit from an engineer if required. You will also be responsible for arranging the service of machines at the company’s workshop and liaising with customers to ensure that they are always aware of the progress being made on their vehicle.
The successful candidate must have the following:
The ability to quickly develop a good understanding of the technical aspects of agricultural machines in order to provide assistance to customers
An agricultural background
Excellent communication skills
The ability to remain calm in a high-speed and high-pressure working environment
Working hours - Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., Friday 7.30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (these hours are flexible depending on the time of year)
