To support the Reporting function in the preparation or complete, accurate and robust business reporting on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
Contribute to team strategic objectives via:
The production of high - and low - level design documents and procedures
Continually contributing to the automation and improvement of processes within the team
Operational Management
Development and amendment of reports using Power BI, Business Objects, SSRS and SQL Server
Assist in gathering and documenting reporting requirements from the business and clients
Document detailed internal procedures for report production
Work effectively in virtual, interdisciplinary teams, contributing to a delivery driven culture
Proactive management of stakeholders at all levels, ensuring queries are dealt with effectively
People Leadership
Develop more junior staff within the team, training, problem resolution, and the building of an effective team dynamic
Governance & Risk
Contribute to process and controls improvement surrounding the preparation of reports
Experience & Personal Attributes
Oracle Business Objects
SSIS
T-SQL
Power BI
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
Visual Basic for Applications
Ability to interpret complex written, spoken and numerical data
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet set objectives in tight timescales
Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy
Aptitude to multi task and be highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Experience of a multi-client environment
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Experience working for regulated firms in the financial services industry
Experience of the mortgage industry
