Here, you’ll be overseeing the running of the payroll function processing multiple weekly & monthly throughout the month for around 1500 employees currently.
You’ll have the support of 2 payroll administrators and through your supervision you’ll be able to offer advice and guidance, being the first point of call for escalations. You’ll mentor through 121’s and take the lead in the department.
The Payroll Manager, who you’ll report into, is looking for her number two. Due to business growth and acquisitions her capacity has been reduced as they take on a more strategic role so she’s looking for you to come in and manage the day to day running of the function.
The business has further growth in the pipeline so they’ll be plenty of opportunity and scope for yourself development and multiple project work around acquisitions and process improvement you can support on too.
If you’ve read so far, you’ll probably have experience of –
* Processing high volume payroll processing across monthly and weekly payrolls
* Experience delivering in house payrolls
* Ability to support the team having the confidence to coach and make decisions
* Passionate and drive to support a business through growth
