Food Operative

We are looking to recruit a food operative for our busy handmade frozen dessert production unit in Castle Donington. You will be working as part of one of the largest independent Foodservice companies in the UK.

Daily Responsibilities include:

* Assist in ingredient preparation.

* Assist in manufacturing of desserts.

* Assist in decanting and finishing of desserts.

* Assist in cleaning of work area to company and food safety standards.

Food Operative Role Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess an all-round kitchen knowledge preferably with some knowledge in patisserie though this is not essential.

We are looking for an individual who is organised, hardworking and flexible, who can work off their own initiative as well being a team player.

We currently operate from Monday to Friday with bank holidays off and a close down over the Christmas period.
