Job Title: QHSE Coordinator

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a QHSE Coordinator to join the team in Swansea.

The position reports to the Compliance and Assurance Lead forming part of the compliance and assurance team. The role is key to supporting management to achieve and maintain excellence in quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) risk management across the account. You will act as a focal point for the QHSE function on the account.


Act as the focal point for the QHSE function with respect to internal and external inquiries, providing effective guidance and support.

Own the QHSE Management Plan (OP9) and provide support to the account team with its implementation.

Organise and administer QHSE function reporting, including data collection, risk analysis and report production. Provide commentary and insights on QHSE performance trends.

Undertake internal QHSE audits, site tours and inspections.

Contribute to the QHSE and compliance audit and assurance programme as required.

Review existing policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work, including an appraisal of how these are implemented across the account.

Coordinate and assist with the preparation of new QHSE materials including procedures, forms, policies and templates.

Undertake timely and comprehensive accident and incident investigations.

Organise and administer QHSE function meetings, including scheduling, producing the agenda, tracking attendance, taking and circulating the minutes.

Ensure QHSE documentation is maintained and readily available using company systems.

Deliver QHSE risk management training to internal employees.

Any other activity as instructed by the line manager relevant to the team work output.

Actively identify and implement innovation across the contract to enhance performance and continue to meet customer expectations.

Promote and maintain company culture throughout the team.

Effective communication with all levels of internal and external customers.


Formal qualification in Health and Safety (such as IOSH or NEBOSH).

Membership to a HSE professional body (desirable).

Formal qualification in environmental management.

Formal qualification in quality management.

Good all round knowledge of building services and relevant processes.

Experience with QHSE Management Systems.

Experience undertaking QHSE audits and inspections.

Experience undertaking QHSE incident investigations.

Proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Excel skills to include basic functions, v-lookups, etc.

Well-developed communication skills enabling the individual to work with Senior Managers, clients, suppliers, and staff of all levels and abilities.

Must be detail conscious, with an accurate and methodical in approach.

Strong organization and communication skills.

Able to work on more than one task at any given time.

Must demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and promote a sense of team spirit and good morale within the office.

Calm manner able to work under pressure and against changing demands and priorities
