My client was formed in 1985 and have over thirty years experience in providing tailored support services (cleaning, manned guarding and buildings maintenance) to suit the needs and budget of their clients. The company serve a client base across the south of England, from the south coast, into the Thames Valley and east into London. Their mantra is to create long term partnerships with their clients offering competitive pricing along with superior levels of customer service.
I am currently working with them to find a Head of Soft Services to oversee and lead the national operations of the Division. They require problem-solver and a genuine go-to leader. Someone with the ability to build relationships both internally and with our customers. Someone, who will take control of all aspects of field operations and liaise with the rest of the Senior Management Team to lead the Company. They are particularly seeking someone with experience from the Commercial Cleaning sector but if you can also point to a good working knowledge of the Security or Facilities Management as a whole, then so much the better. You’ll need to be professional, personable and good with IT.
The key duties of this role include:
* Overall responsibility for implementing and executing effective payroll procedures
* Accountability for financial performance of allocated budgets
* Ensuring that customer satisfaction, health and safety, compliance and environmental performance is at the highest level, through development and people-orientated management of resources in all operational areas. This includes full responsibility for the Quality Monitoring, Security Audits and other relevant tools
* Ensuring the achievement of operational KPIs, company objectives and personal development of operational staff whilst delivering agreed level of client retention
* To provide regular reports to the Executive Director on all aspects of the operational management
* Play a significant role in developing and maintaining a positive, supportive and inclusive culture throughout the organisation
Requirements:
* Proven success in an operational leadership role – a min of 5 years’ experience in similar role within the Facilities Management or Soft Services industry
* Demonstrable experience of multiple client management
* Ability to resolve problems and use analytical thought to exercise judgement to provide appropriate solutions, guidance and support
* Commitment and positive attitude
* Excellent IT skills
* A formal H&S qualification is desirable
* Full Clean driving licence desirable
* High level of credibility, team leadership skills and the capability to deliver a positive, motivational Culture whilst fully embracing the company values
* Location wise the role holder can work out of the company’s London office or from the Head office in Berkshire

Salary £50k-£55k poss higher, bonus, Company car, Private dental and medical insurance
