Job Title:              EC&I Project Engineer (Cables & Earthing)  
Location:              Hinkley Point C (Bridgwater) + Home working 
Role Type:            Permanent 
Brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main MEH, cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s 2,500 rooms.  

As a Cables & Earthing Project Engineer, we are looking for someone that has experience in electrical project delivery and has the ability to solve issues relating to electrical systems. We require someone that understands the installation process and has the ability to advise suppliers on how designs should account for this. 
Candidates that have worked in a nuclear environment are ideal however this is not a prerequisite. 
•    Working within the electrical team
•    Aiding the design and manufacture of the electrical systems
•    Reviewing design data
•    Reviewing life time quality records
•    Ensuring issues are dealt with in an efficient way
•    Liaising with European designers and suppliers
Experience required 
•    Experience of delivering an electrical project
•    Experience of mechanical engineering and how it relates to electrical installations. 
•    Be able to liaise with suppliers and advise on designs. 
•    Problem solving ability 
•    Will need to have or be able to obtain necessary security clearance
