Position; Calibration/ Maintenance Engineer
Location: Leicestershire
Shift: Working hours: over a 5-day week as follows - Monday - Thursday - 8am-4pm Friday 8.00am-3.30pm. Due to the nature of the role out of hours working/call outs would be expected.

An excellent opportunity for a Calibration/ Maintenance Engineer looking for specialist training in the Pharmaceutical industry to join a well-established and expanding company who can offer excellent progression opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a similar technical role, ideally with some experience of working in a regulated environment (e.g. Pharmaceutical, Food).
- Mechanical, Electrical or Facility Maintenance related qualifications with experience of site services / facilities equipment beneficial but not essential - good maintenance skills, experience or aptitude are equally valuable.
- Good understanding of relevant corporate, statutory and GMP requirements beneficial, including: risk assessments, COSHH, permits to work, and manual handling.
- Good IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office, Databases) with the ability to quickly learn new systems; experience of using a Computerised Maintenance Management System would be beneficial.
- A logical, natural problem-solver who takes a creative yet disciplined approach to work - understands the importance of following instructions and processes closely.
- Well organised, able to manage own workload to meet deadlines and maintain a good eye for detail, even in a fast-paced and changeable work environment.
- Good team player, always keen to learn and identify opportunities to improve ways of working.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken), can relate to colleagues at all levels of authority and navigate cultural differences with ease.
- The role will consist of internal calibrations and instrumentation installations along with some light mechanical duties from time to time.
- Calibration techniques & methods, test equipment, experience of flow, pressure, temperature, level - general measurement & control techniques.
- Level 3 engineering qualification plus HNC is desirable
- Sound knowledge of electrical control systems is desirable.

You will be carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance/Calibrations on a range of equipment, alongside small installation works, repairs and other maintenance duties.
This position would suit a Maintenance Engineer, from a Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical background, looking to join an established and leading company in a Monday to Friday, days based role
