Account Director

Location: Waterloo, London

Salary: £45,000 basic + OTE £20k (Year 1) + annual team bonus

A hybrid (50/50) of new business development and account management for a content marketing and lead generation consultancy service
Selling a suite of bespoke marketing and branding solutions to optimise your clients' marketing engagement and audience targeting efforts
Targeting C-level marketing executives within enterprise-level organisations

The Role: Our client is now recruiting for an Account Director in the next phase of their growth and development. The role will focus on closing new business deals, as well as the retention and management of existing enterprise level accounts. The successful Account Director will be tasked with selling tailored, multi-channel marketing solutions to C-level marketing executives. You will develop relationships with prospects and use a consultative sales approach to understand your client's business and sector. You will also spend time booking face-to-face meetings and web-based demo appointments. This Account Director role is suited to someone who thrives on being busy. The ideal candidate will be proactive in their approach and have had prior experience managing and expanding key, enterprise accounts.

As an Account Director your responsibilities will include:

Manage and develop a list of existing key accounts
Using varied outbound prospecting techniques to negotiate new business deals
Collaborating with internal teams to create tailored solutions and services for your clients
Networking and attending industry events

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

3 + years B2B closing sales experience
Understanding of digital marketing, sponsorship/media or PR is desirable
Experience selling complex, package deals within the sectors above.
A committed and thorough approach to work

Benefits of the Senior Account Director role:

£45,000 basic salary + OTE £20k (Year 1) + annual team bonus
25 days holiday and pension plan
Central London office - hybrid working (2 days in office per week)
