Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are currently recruiting a Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, on behalf of a choice employer in the Hull area.

We are looking for a strong leader of people, with the skills and experience in strategy deployment; continuous improvement and a safety first approach.

Typical duties and responsibilities for this Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Technician include but are not limited to:

-Lead a successful electrical and mechanical maintenance team
-Strategy development and deployment
-Drive a culture of continuous improvement and 'safety first' mindset
-Prioritise workload accordingly for all scheduled, planned, and emerging maintenance works
-Ensure all works, processes and procedures are documented
-Liaise with cross functional departments to the site is fully optimised, both products and materials are available for 24/7 operations with planned maintenance in place
-Monitor the competency levels of your team; conduct / organise appropriate training and tools to do the job developing a first class team
-Assist in safety programs and risk assessments

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual in all electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance to run a department and really make It their own.

The team here at Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that meet the following skills and experience:

-Qualified to HNC / HND level in electrical and instrumentation discipline with technical and time served experience
-Previous exposure working on a upper tier COMAH site highly desired
-Demonstrable knowledge and team management in all areas of Electrical and Instrumentation systems and maintenance
-You will possess strong management and excellent communication skills; with the ability to influence peers and your team
-You will have a forward thinking; problem solving approach with good analytic skills
-Highly organised with the ability to multi task
-Computer literate with AX dynamics experience highly desirable
