About the role

Now Education are currently seeking to appoint a positive and engaging Teacher to work in a Year 4 class in a mainstream primary school in the Alfreton area. The successful Teacher must have a QTS and experience of full classroom commitments. ECT’s will be considered.

You will be expected to hit the ground running and maintain the schools high standards. The school is looking for consistency and want a teacher who can fully commit to the full-time contract and take on the full responsibilities of the class. This is a lovely class. You will receive full support from SLT and the Head Teacher and the school could offer extra support to a strong ECT if needed.

The school

This a two-form entry junior school with a fantastic local reputation. The head teacher is very positive and supportive and they have a very strong SLT team. The Head teacher is very keen to find someone who really gels well with the rest of the team and gets involved in positively promoting the school’s ethos. They were last rated good by Ofsted.

The school is very welcoming to new staff and the Head Teacher is keen to offer all the support needed to create a smooth transition.

Role includes:

* Full time class teacher – Year 4

* Planning and marking

* Tracking and monitoring pupils progress

* Keeping good relations with parents

* Working with the TA to tailor lesson plans for children with lower ability

* Reporting to SLT, pupils progress

* Working to uphold the school’s ethos
