Our client is looking for a Technical Application Specialist to work in exciting and varied customer-facing role that will involve pre- and post-sales application support such as customer support, product and application- focussed training, and instrument installations at customer sites globally, as well as participation at conferences, workshops and exhibitions, and using our products to generate content for our sales and marketing teams.

You will join a group that develops automated nanoparticle synthesis platforms for customers working in areas such as gene therapy, vaccine development and drug delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Applications support

* Product demos, installation and training (both remote and on customer sites)

* Relationship and customer management skills, always delivering exceptional customer service

* Participation/presentations at conferences and customer workshops globally

* Training distributor and sales teams

* Creation of content for sales support and marketing including webinars, technical and application notes and other documents

* Running experiments to build applications

* Working with partners to build applications and writing up their data

The ideal candidate will hold a Masters or equivalent in Chemistry or a related discipline and will have the ability to troubleshoot technical and application issues.

You will have experience in nanoparticles and will be looking to apply that knowledge in a customer facing role
