Our client, a well-established, reputable practice based in Sheffield, are seeking a talented Project Architect to join their expanding team. Our client works throughout the UK designing and delivering projects in various sectors. They have a variety of exciting projects in their pipeline but their main workload currently lies in the student accommodation, retail and PRS residential scheme sectors.

The position of Project Architect will be predominately based from their office in Sheffield, with site visits as and when required. The most successful Project Architect will need to have the ability to think creatively in a thriving practice and ideally have experience running jobs on site, as well as have excellent knowledge of the UK Building Regulations and Construction standards.
The Project Architect will report into the Directors and have a real responsibility and exciting opportunity from the start. Our client is expecting the Project Architect to hit the ground running and they will have proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD. Our client expects the Project Architect to have at least 3 years post part III experience with proven experience within the residential, retail or student accommodation sectors as this is the sectors that our client has an immediate requirement in.
Project Architect Position Overview
Work as part of a team small design/technical team
To work as a key member of the team applying knowledge to all sectors including Student Accommodation, residential, commercial, leisure and retail
Using software packages including Revit, AutoCAD to produce design proposals
Help with and coordinate the design and production of comprehensive design information
Prepare and produce plans and documents for statutory approvals.
Attending Site visits/meetings
Participate in team meetingsProject Architect Position Requirements
Minimum 3 years post part 3 qualification experience
Revit experience essential / AutoCAD knowledge preferable too
Student Accommodation/residential experience advantageous
Good knowledge of the Building Regulations and technical knowledge
Ability to use Microsoft Teams for collaborating with the team

Competitive salary (£35,000 - £45,000 DOE)
