My Worcester based client are looking for an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their team. The role will be on a temporary basis for 9 months to cover maternity. It will be working part time hours 15 – 20 hours per week.


* Handling sales invoices, receipts, income and payments

* Preparing financial statements to reflect income and expenses

* Purchase & Sales Ledger

* Assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts

* Performing credit checks on the organisation’s new clients and business partners

* Reconciling bank statements and the general ledger

* Performing administrative duties, including filing, photocopying and taking minutes during meetings

* Calculating and entering expenditures

Key Skills:

* Essential you have a background in Accounts

* If you hold MAAT qualification this is advantageous

* Must be fully conversant with Sage & MS Excel

* You will have good attention to detail and accuracy skills
