Apply on Partner SiteWe have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join our team, based in London. You will be working on a full-time permanent basis (Monday to Sunday contract, 37.5 hours per week, regular evening and weekend work will be required to cover business needs). In return, will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.
Purpose of the Facilities Co-ordinator role:
Be responsible for the visual presentation of the premises
Assist the Facilities and Reception Manager with keeping the building and machinery maintained effectively
Be responsible for the day-to-day compliance with health and safety related to this role
Line mange the Facilities Team and casual staff

Responsibilities of our Facilities Co-ordinator will include:
Oversee and deliver the daily, weekly, monthly facilities duties, including cleaning and to make sure that St Luke’s is well presented for visitors
Oversee the cleaning contracts and make sure that the contractors fulfil their obligations
Help source and oversee facilities’ contractors to provide general maintenance and make repairs when this cannot be undertaken by you and/or your team
Support the Facilities and Reception Manager, to ensure that St Luke’s is compliant with all fire regulations, and in particular carry out regular fire risk assessments
Ensure that St Luke’s complies with health and safety requirements, general health and safety for all users and staff in the Centre
Oversee the recruitment of appropriate staff when necessary
With the Facilities & Reception Manager, to be responsible for the security of the building and its contents
Be the point of contact for visitors, staff and tenants
With the Reception team, help to coordinate all room users’ requirements for St Luke’s activities and events
Attend meetings and training as required
As a Facilities Team, to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner
What we are looking for in our ideal Facilities Co-ordinator:
Essential
A background in or experience of overseeing or working in a Facilities Team environment
Experience of overseeing building maintenance contractors
A track record of doing and overseeing minor repairs and maintenance and controlling heating, ventilation and other mechanical systems
Knowledge of building related health and safety
Experience of providing excellent customer service
Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate confidently and effectively
A hands on individual and flexible with regard to tasks including cleaning, light maintenance and room presentation
IT Literate
Able to work independently and demonstrate initiatives in improving facilities’ systems
Prioritisation and planning skills
A flexible approach to working days and hours when necessary
Desirable
Experience of managing staff and performance monitoring
Experience of developing and overseeing planned preventative management systems
Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Formal training in facilities management
Understanding of IT environment
A full UK or EU driving licence (to include being allowed to drive a mini bus)
