This is a home-based role working for Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions incorporating British Gypsum, Celotex and Isover brands, three of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK. The role is based in the Scotland covering Scotland and The North East of England

For this role in particular we are looking for someone with the following;

3 years' customer facing sales role
Account Management (national and regional)
Commercial Negotiation
Previous sales training
Market Knowledge
Good Understanding of Construction Supply Chain
5 O'Level/GCSE - Maths & English to minimum Grade C

What will I be doing in the role?

As the Business Development Manager you will manage and develop our Main Contractor accounts, gaining maximum value from Main Contractor Framework Agreements through our value and product leadership proposition, whilst creating demand for new products and services.

Role accountabilities include;

Account Management: Responsibility for the commercial success of MCFA projects, working collaboratively with the client to ensure maximum commercial advantage and commitment through the supply chain
Networking & Relationship Development: Establishes and maintains an effective and constantly evolving network of contacts and stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the voice of the customer and the market place informs our decision and our activity is aligned to achieve common objectives
Project Tracking Meetings: Representing the customer at Project Tracking Meetings to prioritise the essential relationships and projects which require leveraging internally to ensure maximum return on investment whilst working collaboratively across all channels
Sales Strategy: Implements the sales delivery element of the Commercial sector marketing plans, interacting across appropriate functions and promoting to customers NPD and specific marketing strategies enabling us to achieve and maintain our market position as product leaders
CRM: Embed CRM as a product leadership tool ensuring data is accurate for both internal and external requirements
Value Proposition: Continually promote our value and product proposition to meet customer and business needs
