The Role

The Senior Compliance Administrator (SCA) is an instrumental position of importance within the Transport & Compliance Department in ensuring that the company administrational compliance requirements are upheld and maintained to DVSA Earned Recognition Standards. The SCA also plays an active role in ensuring drivers are compliant to EU Drivers Hours Rules, Defect management and Company standards through proactive debriefing and engagement.

Key tasks & Responsibilities

* EU Drivers Hours – Tachograph data management & Control

* Conducting driver debriefing for accrued infringements

* Providing constructive advice to offending drivers

* Reporting high offenders for further action

* Investigating vehicle mileage missing from tachograph data

* Recording outcomes against individual occurrences.

* Reporting all non-compliant anomalies to line manager

* Maintain data systems including driver and vehicle data

* Data and infringement management

* Debriefing drivers who breach WTD rules

Accountabilities & Objectives

* Providing weekly WTD average hours worked reports to line manager

* Driver Calendar Management

* KPI’s on achieving compliance in the department

* Manage and enter correct data into mobile workers calendar ensuring data is accurate and up to date.

* Overall accurate administration of vehicle maintenance

* Updating schedules

* Planning a weekly maintenance schedule with approved service providers

* Collating and uploading PMI reports

* Audit reported defects

* Report generation n walk round checks

* Assist with collation and reporting of accident and Incident information to insurers & company stakeholders

* Recording, filing, and maintaining information on database

* Assisting in investigation process

* Collating and responding to all driver recruitment applications

* Phone screening potential new drivers & scheduling Interviews

* Completing driving licence checks & recording them

* Assisting with gatehouse checks on LLT vehicles leaving and arriving on site

* Assist in the administrational needs of managing the company operator licence.

Knowledge & Skills (Essential)

Understands EU Drivers hours rules & regulations

Has full knowledge of Working Time Directive for mobile workers

Good Fleet administration

PMI, MOT and LOLER inspection planning & scheduling

Operator license conditions and undertakings

Microsoft office

Excellent all round administration skills

Good eye for detail

Qualifications & Experience (Desirable)

Transport manager CPC holder (national or International)

Accident and incident management experience

Operator licence administration

Driving licence administration

Driver recruitment administration
