The Client & Role | Who Are They?
1492 Search is seeking a passionate and collaborative Internal Sales to work with Sales and BD Managers to deliver a strategic approach to profitable growth with an inclusive company. SME £13m turnover business with a global footprint, very stable and growing business who are part of a global group.
To give you an idea of the Internal Sales role, here are some of the main duties you will be performing in your first few weeks:
* Managing outstanding enquiries and opportunities, including maintaining the quote logs.
* Acting as first point of contact for specific customers especially customers in Germany but other global locations as well.
* Generating customer pricing using cost estimate sheets.
* Creating and managing customers and contacts on the company’s ERP/ CRM system.
* Looking at Business development opportunities, routes to market/ distributors/ OEMs, Lead Generation.
The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?
The Internal Sales role will also focus on developing and maintaining inter departmental relationships to ensure knowledge transfer and development of personnel. You will work in close collaboration with sales colleagues to ensure all sales activities are covered across the business.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a passion for sales. You will need to be an excellent communicator and fluent in German – oral and written and be able present information clearly and effectively to customers. Previous manufacturing or distribution experience would be advantageous but most importantly a keen eye for detail, passion and the ability to look at new route to markets.
