Grade: Litigation Case Worker(either previous litigation exp or a Degree and customer service skills)

Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week, Mon- Fri) This will be HYBRID role 2 days in office /3 WFH

( you will need facilities to be able to work from home - ie a table/desk, chair/good Internet)

Flexible hours. Core hours between 10am and 3pm with latest shut down 7.30pm

Adecco are recruiting for Case Workers in civil litigation to fill some exciting roles within the Appeals, Litigation and Admin Review (ALAR) division of the Home Office.

An environment with flexible working optionsLitigation Operations are responsible for considering pre-action protocol letters, judicial review challenges and private law claims.

The successful candidates will ultimately be responsible for the management of the judicial review from the start to the end. Will gain experience in litigation handling, preparing cases for court and managing cost conclusions.

We are looking for candidates with the following skill set:

Responsible, taking ownership for own decisions and be held accountable Essential Criteria:

University Degree (Will be required to provide evidence of your degree at the interview stage)
OR recent experience in management of civil litigation Desirable Criteria:

Good customer service skills
Ability to follow set standards and guidance
Good IT skills (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Security Clearance:

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, we will need to apply for security clearance

Resided in the UK for the last 3 years
Have a *current* British Passport or settlement status
NI Number
2 x proof of addresses (all in UK)
5 years full history with no gaps of more than 1 month
3 years solid reference with no gaps of more than 1 monthDue to the nature of the work at the Home Office, the role can be subject to change based on the business needs at the time. Therefore, they need candidates with a flexible nature that can deal with change.

If placed into a role you will undergo extensive training and the expectation is that you will stay in that role for the duration of the assignment, or a minimum of 4 months, before we can reassign you into a different business area. If you feel the role upon offer is not suitable you will need to discuss this prior to undergoing training.
