First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Recruitment Researcher to join their team in London.

For the past 25 years, the company has grown and evolved alongside private equity, developing services as the market diversifies and is expanding across continents as their clients globalise. Historic levels of investment in private markets are creating unprecedented demand and the company is evolving its business to meet it. The opportunity to build a team which services a new market vertical for the business is clear and the company is eager to find people to take on that challenge. Opportunities abound in this fast-growing company for people with the right aptitude and attitude.

Potential candidates will be considered for various Research positions dependent on experience. The networks built by the company’s Researchers form the foundation of the business. For the more senior positions, and higher salary level, previous experience in relevant financial sectors will be essential (see below).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyst Level:

Develop and nurture the relationships with clients and candidates that set the company apart.
You will be guided through the intricacies of private markets and trained to use leading-edge recruitment technology to pinpoint people with the skills the company’s clients need.
You’ll be immersed in this exciting and dynamic sector from day one, engaging with extraordinary people who are shaping global financial markets.

Consultant Level:

Develop and nurture both new and existing client relationships whilst building a business area of your own.
You will be trained to use leading-edge recruitment technology to pinpoint the candidates you need, along with the support of a fully staffed research team.
You’ll be given the space to grow and establish yourself as an expert within a specific vertical of the private markets universe.

Skills and Experience:

Experience in private equity, venture capital, alternative asset investor, or other relevant financial sectors [highly desirable, but essential for more senior Research roles].
Previous recruitment experience [highly desirable, but essential for more senior Research roles].
A strong understanding of private markets [highly desirable, but essential for more senior Research roles].
The personal discipline to build a market presence in a new environment.
The confidence to articulate your ideas and follow them through.
The commitment to achieving successful outcomes.
The desire to build long lasting relationships.
Demonstrate great listening skills and ask insightful questions.
Deliver to the highest standard with immaculate attention to detail.
Consistently deliver high quality verbal, written, formal and informal output.
Problem-solve and always go the extra mile.
