Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics/recovery

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to work in the Theatres for a leading provider of private healthcare in Leamington Spa.

Our client provides a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services using advanced equipment and facilities. Their highly skilled and caring staff create a relaxed environment to support patients' wellbeing and recovery, while offering a special focus in the areas of orthopaedics, spinal surgery, eye care, diagnostic imaging and general surgery.

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner in theatres, you'll drive the standards in patient care. You'll be registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you'll bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration. You'll also have post-registration experience.

This is a full time role - 37.5hrs including some weekends

As a Senior Theatre Anaesthetics/Recovery Practitioner, you will:

Supervise, support and develop junior members of staff.
Enjoy opportunities to work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities which are state-of-the-art.
Put your communication skills to work
Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs
Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
Provide day to day supervision involvement in recruitment, induction and coordinating and leading the team in conjunction with Theatre Leadership team.
Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities
Work closely with leading consultants and other like minded professionals, who will respect and value what you bring to the close knit multidisciplinary team.
Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.
You will put patients and colleagues at the heart of everything you do workingTo succeed as a Senior Anaesthetic/Recovery Practitioner you will have:

High levels of focus and engagement, a passion for high standards and a meticulous eye for detail.
Qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
Post-registration experience.
Excellent communication skills and will be a great team worker. You will also be flexible and motivated.
Experience in multi-speciality surgical procedures plus further professional training, excellent clinical skills and experience in mentoring.
Exposure to management and day to day running of a team/department.
An interest in Risk Management, Health & Safety, Audit and Infection Control and willingness to develop in these areas.
A recognised anaesthetic qualification and up to date recovery skillsBenefits:
