Project Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity at PCE for a Project Manager to join our Projects Team. The role will require travel to our sites nationwide.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive and deliver PCE project success. Working on some of the nation’s most impactful projects, PCE Project Managers play an integral role in the planning, coordination and delivery of our projects, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of project to programme and cost specification. The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for running the project team, ensuring successful results whist striving to offer speed, quality, safety and value.

Location

This is predominantly a site-based role with occasional Head Office visits. The successful candidate must be willing to travel across the UK to be based on PCE projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

* Managing, overseeing and assuming all operational aspects of a projects lifecycle, from preconstruction and commercials through to construction and completion – design, manufacture and construction

* Monitoring the processes and procedures for the effective management of all aspects of procurements alongside the Project Director and Commercial Director

* Assisting with commercial management in conjunction with the QS; including establishing and agreeing cash flows, payment milestones and terms & conditions. Subsequently managing PCE’s critical activities, influencing the commercial position and performance of the project inclusive of variations, change control and commercial agreements

* Establish and implement the overall strategy for project success

* Monitor, control and report on project performance and milestones, productivity and quality, including leading key stage project reviews and weekly project meetings

* Ensure a collective commitment to health & safety, digital delivery and the guarantee of PCE’s quality standards

* Leading the entire team, encouraging buy-in, coordination and engagement

* Identify best design solutions, innovative problem-solving and work with the project team and wider team to deliver project success

* Oversee PCE’s commitment to speed, quality, safety and value, ensuring project deliverance in line with time and cost programmes

* Clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including project team, wider PCE team, partners and clients

* Managing the production overview, weekly outputs and understanding casting methodology
