Job title: Employee Relations Specialist
Location: Hybrid / London (2-3 days in the office)
Daily rate: up to £350-£470 per day (umbrella)
Duration: Start ASAP until the end of December 2022

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a prestigious and well-respected organisation!

Key responsibilities include:

Providing support on matters related to collective and individual employee relations.

Employee Relations and Employee Engagement Managing high-impact or high-risk individual or collective disciplinary, grievance or other employee relations issues

Managing local consultation processes and requirements Developing and leveraging relationships with our UK Employee Engagement Forums Driving and supporting o DE&I ambitions to ensure an inclusive workplace.

Managing external risks and ensuring compliance with external legislative requirements Identifying weak signals that provide early indication of organisational, cultural or behavioural issues and recommending appropriate interventions

Coaching members of the wider HR Advice team and Line Managers in effective employee and industrial relations

Using data and insights to proactively identify emerging ER/IR trends and define mitigations for potential future risks

The successful candidate

Good subject matter expertise in UK Employee and Industrial Relations legislation, practices, and processes

Strong coaching and influencing skills to be able to effectively manage a broad range of external and internal stakeholders

Strong diagnostic and evaluation skills - with an ability to distil key themes and value drivers from complex and sometimes conflicting data and insights

An ability to identify and understand external market trends (economic, political, social) and derive insights to drive an effective long-term ER environment.

A strong sense of teamwork and partnership with others Effective relationship and collaboration skills to manage stakeholders and work with other parts of the HR/business organisation as the ER/IR environment is shaped by an integrated collective effort
