DWP Digital is looking for solution architects to join our team.
You'll be supporting the architecture design for modern digital solutions in the Child Maintenance Group (CMG), making sure that children, parents and carers get the money they need.
That means the design of either modern digital online solutions or the underlying hosting, environments, networking and public cloud infrastructure of their common platforms.
DWP architecture strategy is to orient our services around Events, supported by a Microservices, enabling DWP to manage change quickly, and at low risk, and resulting in dependable high-quality services for our customers.
We need a team player who can work with our community of architects to ensure solutions are consistent, strategic, and interoperable.
You'll be driven to maintain high standards, focused on re-using patterns where possible, and be able to represent solutions to the Digital Design Authority at various stages of the product development.
You'll be our expert voice for good architecture, an advocate who can support delivery of secure solutions that meet our customer's needs, reducing architecture complexity and technical debt.

In return for your skills, we offer pay up to £67,000 per annum.
