What sort of person are we looking for?
The ideal candidate would be someone looking to begin their journey in ceramic manufacturing and developing a good understanding of ceramic raw materials and processes.
The ability to manage workloads is essential as is the need to demonstrate continuous pride in the work produced.
Proven experience of innovative approaches to problem solving would also be desirable.
Accomplished communication skills both verbally and written.
To perform routine testing of incoming raw materials and outgoing products and action non-conformances accordingly whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
To provide both proactive and reactive technical support to the production team to help maintain optimum process efficiency.
To develop and implement Technical Projects to help enable optimal process performances and to work towards Net Zero targets using knowledge of the materials used in our production processes.
To exchange information to enable decision making and problem solving to be carried out within the department, by other departments within the Company and by external bodies.
To seek, evaluate and organise information to aid decision making within the department, by other departments within the Company and by external bodies.
