Senior IT Category and Contracts Manager
What you’ll be doing?
We are seeking to recruit a Senior IT Category and Contracts Manager into our award-winning Commercial Services team to lead, deliver and manage a portfolio of Commercial and Non-Commercial Agreements for a central organisation delivering digital solutions to NHS Wales and the wider public sector. Our vision is to create social and economic value by delivering to the people of Wales 1st Class digital health and care services which will enable more effective, efficient safer decision making by providing access to content rich patient focused, health and care data and information.
Experienced in a wide range of contract management, you will be a key interface for DHCW in developing and managing appropriate and robust agreements with a wide range of stakeholders internally, across NHS Wales and the wider public sector.
You will need to have demonstrable experience of strong influencing, analytical and communication skills to ensure that all agreements optimise each organisation’s business needs need whilst minimising operational and contractual risk. This is an exciting time to join DHCW as we are currently seeking to extend our scope of work into the digital innovation and research area and the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping to deliver this strategy.

What skills do you need?
* Excellent skills in drafting robust contractual agreements and report writing
* Strong contract and relationship management skills
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Flexibility to be able to prioritise and manage a project plan with many interdependencies
* Able to diagnose problems and propose creative and practical solutions
What else is advantageous?
* Working knowledge of public sector contracting and procurement including PCR2015
