YOUR ROLE

As a Customs Implementation Manager, you will have a clear focus on taking Business that has been closed, implementing it and continuously working to increasing Customer satisfaction - working in close collaboration with Operational Management and other key internal stakeholders - you will support to bring new business on implementing it within the operations and then working to continually and methodically improve services, processes and solutions for your Customers. This is a role that will provide you with the opportunity to both contribute and develop, while working with some of the biggest and best companies across all industry verticals - including those in our UK focus areas of Aerospace & Defence, Government & Military and Pharma & Healthcare. You can become a member of the successful Customs and Trade Compliance team at a key point in time. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement new closed customs business from the sales organisation into the operations to delivers what was promised through the sales cycle
Focus on your Customers experience and collaborate closely with the key Customer contacts and the respective operational team and internal stakeholders.
Prepare quotes, customer presentations and coordinate specialist projects.
Maintain Customer data such as Empowerment Letters, Standing Authorisations, HS Commodity Code database and Customer SOP and Working Instructions.
Prepare and present Monthly Business Review's (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Review's (QBRs) in collaboration with the operational team and other internal stakeholders.
Maintain Customer satisfaction by keeping up to date with customer reports as well as maintain current service levels (SLAs) and operational performance (KPIs) and ownership of issue management, escalations and corrective actions.
Analyse Customer performance - using a combination of hands-on daily experience and available business intelligence - to determine where there are challenges and opportunities.
Collaborate with the Commercial Bid Team to support tenders and support or lead the implementation of new business in collaboration with Business Units implementation teams.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

You are Customer focused with a solution orientation and a proactive problem-solving approach, that places the Customer at the heart of your decisions.
You take ownership, work with discipline and are resilient and determined. With your enthusiastic, courteous and flexible approach you are open to change and able to handle conflict with integrity.
You have excellent communication skills - and are able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels to explain, influence and negotiate effectively.
You must have a background in either customer service, logistics and supply chain or customs (or a combination of the aforementioned)
You have good numerical and logical reasoning aligned to the ability to put together data and content using common tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and VISIO - in a way that tells 'the story'.
You will be required to work on a Fixed, Fixed and Flexible or fully Flexible basis. You may need to travel nationally to both KN and customer sites, so a valid driver's license is essential.GOOD REASON TO JOIN
