Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking Business Development Managers to join the business on a permanent basis. You will play a vital role in leading strategy development, establish and retain business growth opportunities, winning new business and developing client relationships.

Conduct extensive local client market research to identify new markets, trends and client opportunities
Develop a growth strategy and work with Senior Regional Directors to develop new business and identify target markets and focus plans
Locate, identify and pursue new business contacts and develop leads
Fully manage the life cycle of new business from initial enquiry or lead through to client engagement through to implementation,
Promote all company services and products that would suit the needs of the client
Collate and maintain business development records of all prospective clients, targets, pipeline and revenue
Build, maintain and develop long term relationships with new and existing clients within your region
Raising the company profile and self-development by attending local expositions, local industry events and seminars to include productive networking
Provide senior management and key stakeholders with market trend and competitor analysis
Work collaboratively with local branch managers and directors to help win new business or potential lead streams
Work in partnership with centralised bids support team to produce proposals, presentations and tender responsesExperience Needed:

An understanding of facilities management industry would be highly beneficial
Proven record or business development or exposure to developing strategy for business growth
Proven relationship building skills and customer focused
Commercially aware and ability to analyse and develop market knowledge and focus areas of growth
Ability to work under pressure and your own imitative as well as collectively with stakeholders or large projects
Degree educated or industry recognised accreditation such as MIRPM
Professional, credible and a strong desire to exceed and help grow the business and meet company objectives
