Hire Desk Administrator

P Flannery plant Hire is one of the UK's biggest supplier of operated & non operated plant machinery & is looking for a Hire Desk administrator to work on the hire desk at our Manchester Depot.

Duties:

Chasing purchase orders

Raising hire contracts

Confirming on/off hires

Inputting data

Obtaining order numbers

Checking charge rates are correct

Charging fuel costs

Querying discrepancies

E-mailing customers and responding to e-mails

Liaising with Drivers, Hire desk and internal departments

Inputting contracts onto Syrinx system
General admin duties
Taking calls from clients for hires & off hire
Coordination with the site personnel for allocation of available equipment
Processing of pre hire & off hire inspections
Taking inbound calls to the depot

Required Skills and Experience:

Must have strong administration skills
• Motivated self-starter
• Confident and friendly telephone manner
• Ability to thrive under pressure
• Organised
• Attention to detail
• Confident with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word,
Outlook
• Previous experience in administration is essential, experience in the Construction/Plant Hire sector would be an advantage.

Hours of work 09:00 to 18:00 hours Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 13:00 Sat (one in four)

Salary: Apprenticeship wage.

Will gain a formal qualification up to Level 3 once complete
