Clinical Sales Professional

South Thames / West London / South Central

Competitive Basic Salary of £40-50k with bonus, car and full benefits package

THE COMPANY

The company has established itself as a global leader in medical devices focused on blood processing technology for therapeutic and commercial uses. THE ROLE

The role involves clinical sales, clinical education, project management and clinical assessment based around a cutting-edge range of medical devices including a market leading blood technology device. The equipment (a whole blood analyser) will determine how blood will behave (excess bleeding, clotting etc) and diagnose why and how best to treat for individual patients. A conceptual sale the role will be heavily focused on educating key opinion leading surgeons / decision makers. Theatre environments that are targeted include – Cardiac, Liver Transplant, Orthopaedics, Gynae and vascular. The Clinical Support Specialist will be responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key stakeholders within the Trust including, Scrub Professionals, Transfusion Teams, Trust Project Manager and all other stakeholders. This role will require candidates to deliver additional revenue and be sales focused. In addition the appointed person will also sell and promote cell salvage solutions and associated software that supports end users.

THE PERSON

* The role requires an experienced ODP, Specialist nurse (Intensive Care, High Dependency, Cardiac, Transfusion) – a clinical professional used to using technology in the care of patients who has moved into sales (or previously worked in medical sales) and has at least one years sales experience.

* The candidate will be sales focused and have a desire / ability / willingness to use their clinical approach to securing additional usage of products with clinical professionals.

* A large proportion of this role will be spent in a true clinical setting educating / training colleagues and leveraging sales from that shoulder time.

* The role requires a candidate with exceptional organizational skills, good IT / Computer skills (Administrative database – not programming) and a level headed, practical approach to work.

* Candidates will be able to communicate well with clinical and non clinical professionals throughout Hospital accounts.

* The ability to influence key stakeholders and develop strong working relationships is key.

* A teaching qualification such as the ENB998 or similar may be advantageous but is not essential.
