TPT2101 Events Manager
My client is a well established Creative Agency who treat their staff so well they don’t leave, many of whom have been with them over 10 years. Based in Buckinghamshire, this role is part of their expansion. This is a Hybrid role.
Their clients are all sizes and the exhibitions/conferences they manage are mainly across the UK and Europe so some travel will be involved.
As a new role in the business this role will act as a go between for the client to internal designers, external suppliers, Account Managers and working with budgets and to deadlines. They have around 9 events going on at any one time of various sizes.
Key responsibilities include:-
* Understanding the clients’ requirements
* Liaising with the internal design team
* Ideally you will have design skills although this is a desirable not an essential and be able to assist the designers
* Manage costings for each event, manage the budgets and ensuring they are adhered to
* Getting quotations from suppliers
* Inputting all information on their CRM system Workflow Max
* Keeping Directors and Account Manager informed of the progress of all events
* Contact suppliers for rigging, furniture and other contractors for costings etc
* Building relationships with suppliers and clients
* Travel to events when required
