The bookkeeper would be working for a well-established, friendly and progressive company environment based at their offices in Mid Sussex.
The position itself requires an experienced Bookkeeper, someone whom is happy working autonomously. Reporting directly to the Finance Director the successful applicant would be happy making own decisions and working independently.
The Bookkeepers duties will include:
Raising some sales invoices
Setup new customers/suppliers on SAGE
Co. Asset forms & vehicle management (in conjunction with the administrator)
Upload purchase Invoices
* accountants do the PAYE but they need the correct details
The successful Bookkeeper would possess some/most of the following attributes:
Good accounting software knowledge and experience
Strong experience of covering all aspects of Bookkeeping
Experienced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products
Proactive and self-motivated with excellent system skills.
Possess first-rate numerical skills
Commercially driven with an emphasis on providing quality advice & high level of customer service from someone who is both friendly, approachable and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of clients
A passion for small businesses and helping people.
Highly organised. Works in a logical and methodical, time efficient and accurate way. Meticulous attention to detail is essential.
Excellent multi-tasking skills and efficient time management – able to prioritise and manage deadlines & workload
Confident in making decisions and when to refer problems
Clear communicator across all mediums & easily builds rapport with clients and team
Based in the office in Mid Sussex.
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 9 – 5:30pm (there is a degree of flexibility)
