I am currently working with an established financial services orginisation who are looking for a Project Accountant to assist the senior accountants on a project. This role is great for someone who is eager to gain exposure to financial accounting in a financial services group.

The ideal candidate would have experience:
Facilitating all aspects of testing, documentation and providing input into the project.
Performing reconciliations of the Segment's balance sheet accounts, ensuring excellent quality substantiation is used and issues are flagged and resolved in a timely manner. Managing the unreconciled differences and helping to resolve these in a timely manner.
Reporting on the progress of actions and the project to the Finance project team.
Leading and facilitating system and process improvements.
Engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group and third parties to ensure project deliverables are understood.This is a 6-month FTC role. The suitable candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working within a busy finance office. It is also essential to have experience dealing with senior management / stakeholders across multiple departments. In return they offer a hybrid option and the opportunity to advance your skills
