Source Solutions are proud to be working with a leading, highly regarded contractor and platinum award investor in people, within the electrical infrastructure and pioneer within reduced carbon solutions, to identify a skilled and experienced Bid Manager to take the lead on complex, high-value, multi-disciplined project bids on a permanent basis.
This will be a position of significant responsibility and offer a great challenge for someone looking to take their career forward within energy infrastructure for a leading employer. You will ensure the timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids within agreed timescales, managing input from various stakeholders and acting as the voice of the customer internally.
You will be dealing with high-value complex bids, assuming responsibility for opportunities during the ‘propose’ phase of the Business Development Process (inclusive of value proposition / strategy development, solution development, commercial considerations, and risk management) and managing through to completion.
The ideal candidate will:
* Possess proven capability in delivering winning bids for complex product and service opportunities.
* Have a strong background in bid management from opportunity identification through to project hand over at contract signature.
* Have demonstrable experience of providing input into opportunity qualification, win strategies, commercial discussions and solution design.
* Be experienced in scheduling and running bid kick-off meetings, leading storyboarding sessions, facilitating key review meetings / final document review, co-ordinating governance / sign off, document production and delivery of complete bid.
