Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for Tutors based in the Oldham area, working with SEN students who are currently out of school.

We work with local councils to provide tutors for vulnerable students who need additional support with their education. A lot of the students we work with have SEN needs so previous experience working with these needs is required.
You will be providing them with valuable educational support, whether they are currently in school or out of school placements. As positions will be looking to start ASAP, so immediate availability is preferred.
Location - Within the community or pupils' home in Oldham
Position - SEN Tutor
Type of work - Contract
Start date - ASAP
Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
End date (if applicable) - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Full-time/part-time - Part time (15 hours per week, per student)
Minimum rate of pay - £25+ per hour
Hours - Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the familyExperience, Training and Qualifications of the English, Maths and Science Tutor:
QTS or equivalent
Possess UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Primary Outreach Tutor must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
