DWP. Digital with Purpose.
DWP's Identity and Trust Services (IDT) team is a group of multidisciplinary experts brought together to lead on digital identity and trust in DWP. We have responsibility for DWP's identity strategy, and how it impacts on DWP's many digital projects and services.
Our vision and mission is to provide industry-leading identity and trust services in government - creating reusable, shareable policies and technologies, enabling customer and DWP user journeys that are responsive and personalised.
We're making sure that the identities of people and organisations interacting with DWP are verified to the required standards. The team works closely with wider DWP business services to assess the risk of customer journeys, provide guidance on the level of identity and access needed to protect customers.
We want to make it as simple as possible for people to verify their identity online, so they can access the government services they need and safely share the data they need to share.
People. Work. Projects.
As our Product Manager you will really take ownership of the vision for the product, working with stakeholders to ensure strategic fit. You'll engage the development team to maintain alignment and buy in.
You will be using your skills to develop the product strategy and manage the product roadmap. You'll also prioritise the product backlog using a range of product management techniques to maximise value and return on investment.
A strong communicator, you will also be representing users and other stakeholders at team meetings such as planning and review sessions.
We need someone confident to define product goals & metrics, as well as monitor performance against outcomes. You'll ensure the product is developed to an appropriate level of quality - taking into consideration expected lifetime, investment and timeframes.
