We are looking for a Clinical Unit Manager to develop their nursing career at our home located in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

About the Home:

Our care home provides quality 24-hour care for older residents. Individualised care plans are offered to those who are living with dementia, old age and physical disability. We are looking for a Registered Nurse RGN / RMN/ RNLD qualified Unit Manager to come and join our friendly team.

About the role:

The Clinical Unit Manager nurse will oversee the care of every one of the residents in your area of the care home. You'll be responsible for leading, directing and supporting a team of nursing and care staff ensuring excellent standards of care. Supporting with training, mentoring and recruitment you will oversee supervisions, developing staff career development plans for your team. You will have excellent relationship building skills, with resident family members, CQC and local authorities ensuring full compliance in line with CQC standards.

Training & Development:

The Care Home offers a structured and thorough induction programme, which will include various training courses and shadow shifts before nurses get started. Nurses will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where nurses can see clear pathways to progression within the Care Home.

Nurses will also have access to training opportunities to develop and enhance your nursing skills with ongoing support from the manager. Training and development are one of the major ethos' of the Care Home. There are no limits to training and development as the Care Home will fund any training course you would like to do that is relevant to your job role.
