Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are recent and relevant experience working with young people.

About the role

The is the ideal position for individuals looking to go into teaching as you do not require Qualified Teacher Status but can still gain the experience of teaching and working in schools. The desired Cover Supervisors will be passionate about education and will ensure that students are receiving quality learning in the absence of their usual class teachers. The role involves delivering pre-set work for a variety of subjects at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) level, while ensuring the continuation of education for all pupils. We currently work with several schools in and around Scunthorpe supporting day-to-day and short-term cover needs as well as longer-term requirements. To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:

Be passionate about education
Deliver motivating lessons
Have classroom management skills
Have a good understanding of the secondary school curriculum
