About the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role:
Being a Technician for our Marshall Toyota Dealership in Newport is a fast paced and exciting role. Here you will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the dealership.
Working on new and evolving technologies this is the type of role where you will be constantly learning and expanding your knowledge and skill set.
We like to invest in our technicians to ensure that we are ahead of the curve and ready to embrace the future of the automotive industry. We want to develop you and your career to enable you to be in charge of your future.
+ Carrying out the service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
+ Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control.
+ Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
+ Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
+ Ideally you would be a Level 2/3 qualified with some hands-on experience
+ MOT licence is preferable although not necessary
+ Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
+ A good eye for detail.
+ Ability to work under pressure.
+ Good communication skills.
+ A Full driving licence is required.
