We are currently recruiting within our established Finance Team and are looking for a hard-working individual to join the Dignity family as an Accounts Administrator. You will report to the Accounts Admin & Payment Team Manager to ensure all debtors are correctly stated, and all direct debits are made on a timely basis as well as pick up other ad-hoc based duties to make sure we remain efficient in the processing of invoices.

What will I be doing as an Accounts Administrator? 

As an Accounts Administrator, you will maintain direct debtors accurately, process financial invoices and assist in monthly/fortnightly reporting. You will also complete any additional ad-hoc duties as needed to support the wider team effectively. This role will require you to be a team player and would suit someone who loves to work collaboratively. 

Other duties will include: 

Maintain the Debt Admin Helpdesk for multiple parts of our business
Provide support to multiple Operations in connection with their unpaid balances, by advising them of collections and write-offs
Assisting with credit control – debt chasing missing prepaid funeral plan instalments
Processing client refunds in line with company policy
Invoicing Pre-Need funeral plans at the time of need
Ensuring compliance is adhered to in relation to the role and your duties 

What Do I Need?

Knowledge of sales ledger/credit control is desirable
Working knowledge of computerised financials ideally experience with Oracle is ideal
Strong interpersonal, organisational and motivational skills
Fast learner with an ability to get up-to-speed in a short space of time
Has worked within a finance department previously 
Understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams etc., particularly Excel
A proactive approach to work and problem solving and the ability to spot and resolve issues as they occur
