Registered Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced RMN or RNLD to work within a very positive, friendly and supportive Neurological Rehabilitation and complex care. Supporting those with a neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

Salary:

£33,749 per annum negotiable depending on your experience

Hours: This is a full time role 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Shifts 7.40 - 8pm or 7.40 - 8 am - mixed days and nights on rotation to meet the needs of the service

Hospital Details:

This Hospital supports and focuses on active rehabilitation with a view to achieving sustainable discharge. The Hospital has two wards in total:

30 Bed specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

40 bed Elderly Care Centre, assessing the complex elderly who are referred from local hospitals and plans are put in place as residents then transition home or to other care settings.

Preceptorship Programme:

In the case of newly qualified nurses the service offers a fantastic preceptorship programme. They have a good number of experienced staff to support and mentor newly qualified nurses.

Training / Induction and opportunities for development and progression:

The hospital offers a structured and thorough 2-week induction programme, which will include various training courses. You will also have access to clear and structured development programmes where you can see clear pathways to progression within the hospital. Training and development are one of the major ethos' of the hospital.
