Children's Support Worker | Roles across London | Full time/Part Time/Ad Hoc

As we come closer to the end of another year, we are looking for experienced support workers who may be thinking about a fresh start in 2023, or who may be looking for some additional hours in the new year.

We work with a number of Children's services across London, mainly Residential and Semi-Independent homes. These services provide support for young people with varying needs such as challenging behaviour, autism, mental health, and complex needs.

Our clients have a mixture of requirements, some are looking for staff who would be able to do a full line on their weekly rota, others are looking for part time/ad-hoc cover. Our clients also a mixture of day and night shifts. So whatever your requirements are, we will do our best to match you with a role that suits you.

Please see below requirements to register with HAYS - Please note that some of our clients will have other specific experience and qualification requirements

You must have minimum 6 months experience in a relevant role supporting young people within the last 2 years (e.g. residential support worker, youth worker, SEN)
Ideally you will hold a relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ L3)
Ideally you will have completed relevant mandatory training
You must pass our compliance process before commencing work
You must be able to provide an Enhanced DBS Certificate (registered on the update service) or be willing to complete a DBS check

Different working patterns available depending on your needs and shift availability - Full Time, Part Time, Ad-Hoc
