We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Service based in Cambridge on a permanent and full time basis (37.5 hours a week).  Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins, weekends and bank holidays.  You will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £60.00 for any sleep in shifts carried out. The payment for sleep ins is non-contractual.

Part of the role also includes planning and supporting with activities outside of the house and participating in the community to promote skills and individuality. This may be a trip to the local shops, movies, cafés, or it could be a trip to the zoo! One resident was recently supported on a trip to London, with overnight stay, to watch the snooker live. She was even on the BBC! You too can support with planning and accompanying on such memorable trips.

At Thorpe Way we support people to live as independently as possible. This will include budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
