The Role:

Responsible for the effective maintenance of the Knowles Transport fleet, planning work and organising shifts. Management of the team. Day to Day re-active and proactive maintenance of the Fleet taking direction from the Fleet manager at our March site.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience or qualification in motor mechanics such as City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a BTEC National Certificate in Vehicle Repair and Technology
Excellent motor technology knowledge and a strong interest in motor vehicles
Good communication skills
Ability to concentrate when under pressure
Having good manual dexterity
Methodical and organised and able to work to strict deadlines
Ability to work autonomously, follow and give instructions
Must have own transport and full UK driving licenceFleet Maintenance - Repair and maintain fleet vehicles.

Performing the following tasks:

Inspect vehicles to MOT standard
Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
Maintain current product knowledge and attend training courses as required
Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
Complete all paperwork as necessary
Ensure all aspects of H&S working practices are adhered to
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidinessWhat We Offer / Benefits:
