Production & Logistics Technician
Circa £27k Per annum
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

Due to the continuous growth of this internationally renowned pharmaceutical and laboratory equipment supplier, the Manufacturing Team require a Production & Logistics technician to wok within their manufacturing production team, finishing the assembly process and the shipment of all of the companies intricate and large build bio processing machinery.

The successful candidate will work alongside the various Production Personnel and Production Planners, to ensure the equipment is dis-assembled, packed and documented correctly, ensuring all required items are shipped to the customer. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with assembly and/or production experience and some logistics experience.

The main duties of the Production & Logistics Technician include:
• Work hands on alongside the Build team to safety dis-assemble large equipment.
• Wrapping of large components and panels, using suitable packaging.
• Packing and labelling of picked kits, which are used during the installation and re-assembly of the equipment at customer's site.
• Ensure that all equipment components are moved into the packing area, ready for external packing company, with all shortages reported immediately to the production planner.
• Use of various pieces of lifting equipment to ensure goods are transported in a safe manner, including Counterbalance Forklift Trucks to load packed crates onto curtain side lorries.
• Cooperate with Production and Planning in a timely manner to resolve material issues
• Work as part of the team to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets.

Key Skills and Relevant Experience:
• Experience in Production and/or logistics
• It Skills (Data entry)
• Hands on experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Forklift licence and experience working with large loading equipment
• Able to time manage and prioritise workloads
