Role: Information Security Specialist
Location: Crawley, Hybrid
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000

My client, who is a global multi-billion dollar company operating in the semi-conductor industry, are looking for an Information Security Specialist to join their team on a permanent, hybrid basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced information security professional, with a strong technical background. The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking and a confident communicator, with a passion for security and self-development.

The duties will include:
* Develop IS security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure secure information systems.
* Implement vulnerability tracking, intrusion prevention and detection, and system standards.
* Configure/optimise security monitoring tools.
* Perform security analysis of applications.
* Define security standards and ensure compliance.
* Provide security advice and guidance to staff.
* Assist in detecting, investigating, defending against security incidents.
* Support InfoSec training and awareness programmes.
